I started this site because I got tired of the noise.
Every day I open my feed and see the same thing — fifteen headlines all saying a new model dropped, a new benchmark was crushed, a new existential threat is coming. But when I look at what's actually running in production, that story is almost never the one being told.
I'm based in Asia, and I watch AI get used in real environments — the kind most Western coverage never thinks to look at. The models topping the leaderboards aren't always the ones doing real work. And the stuff that actually moves the needle? It often flies under the radar.
So I built this site to write what I see. No hype. No panic. Just honest observations, updated as things change. One article at a time.
This site makes money through affiliate links. If you click a link to a tool or service I recommend and buy something, I earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you.
I do not take sponsorships, brand deals, or paid placements from AI companies. Not from any manufacturer. Why? Because once someone pays me to talk about their product, you can never be completely sure whether my opinion is still mine. I'd rather keep that line very, very clean.
Every affiliate link here is clearly marked. You'll always know when a link earns me a commission. And if you find my recommendations useful and choose to use them, you're also helping this site stay independent and keep publishing. No pressure. No obligations.
Every article starts with my own research, analysis, and point of view. I write the thinking — the argument, the conclusion, the judgment calls.
Then I use AI tools to help with the language: clean up the phrasing, improve the flow, make sure it reads naturally. English isn't my first language, so this step genuinely matters.
So here's the short version: the thinking is human. The polish is assisted.
I tell you this openly because I'd rather you know the truth than wonder. Some readers can spot AI-assisted writing right away — I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
Every article includes verifiable sources and clear limitations. If I get something wrong, I'll update it. If I change my mind, I'll say so.
That's the deal.
